About the CS780

CS780 long-range RFID antenna is a best-in-class antenna for use with RFID readers for ultra long-range tag reading. The antenna has industry leading circular polarization properties (e.g., axial ratio) to enable best read yield of tags of all orientations as they approach the sweet zone of the antenna. The antenna has extremely good VSWR for minimal self-jamming effect for best RFID reader sensitivity. The antenna has narrow beam width and excellent front-to-back ratio to even handle traffic lane monitoring applications. The antenna is housed in a heavy-duty IP67 enclosure that can be directly wall mounted. The antenna is offered with either a flange mounted connector or a pigtail connector (short or long). The antenna comes with either male or female TNC or SMA connectors, with normal or reverse polarity.

Radiation Pattern

The radiation pattern diagrams show the CS780 has a high front-to-back ratio, which ensures that the antenna is primarily picking tag reads from the desired direction and rejects unwanted tag reads from the rear. Both horizontal and vertical patterns have a narrow beamwidth of 60° at 3dB that will help read tags a specific direction.
